Terms and Conditions

Who we are

These terms govern the relationship between Vít Dobrovolný, Czech Republic (“Webship”), and the client when designing and building websites and related services. Contact: +420 736 239 701.

How the contract is made

After your enquiry I send a quote with the scope, price and timeline. The contract is made when you confirm the quote in writing, email included. A quote is valid for 30 days.

Price and payment

The price is fixed and stated in the quote. The full price is paid in advance against an invoice due within 7 days. Work starts once the payment arrives. The price in the quote is final.

Working together

You provide the materials (logo, photos, access) and approve designs and copy within the agreed dates. The delivery date moves by the time I wait for materials or approval.

The first design

Before the build starts you see the homepage design. If you don’t like the first design and end the project, you get the full amount you paid back.

Changes and extra work

The first 3 small changes within 30 days of launch are included. Anything beyond the agreed scope is quoted before I start.

Handover and ownership

Once the site is live and paid for, the source code, domain and all access are yours. Webship may show the website as a reference unless we agree otherwise.

Domain, hosting and third parties

The domain and hosting are registered in your name. Webship is not responsible for outages or changed terms of third-party services such as hosting, email or form providers.

Website care

Ongoing care is optional, agreed separately and can be cancelled with one month’s notice.

Liability

I fix defects you report within 30 days of launch free of charge. Liability for indirect damage and lost profit is excluded as far as the law allows. You are responsible for content you supply (copy, photos, licences).

Confidentiality

I keep everything you share about your business confidential and will sign your NDA on request.

Consumers

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of making it. If I start work earlier at your express request, you pay a proportionate part of the price for work already done. Out-of-court disputes are handled by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).

Final provisions

These terms are governed by Czech law, in particular the Civil Code. They apply from 21 October 2026.
